E.L.A - Write Traits, Lesson 2; students are to complete their tabletop organizer and have a rough draft of their story ready for tomorrow.

Book Report: due Sept 30th, be attentive to doing your best with printing clearly and checking for spelling mistakes.  The drawing can be done with pencil crayon or marker.

Math - Textbook work on page 13, question 4 and reflect complete for tomorrow

Students have signed into Microsoft 365, they have been asked to share/talk about this at home.  We will as a class do some collaborative work, editing some of our writing pieces, science has been forwarded to the students to read/listen on Habitats and Communities. It's a great tool and we are needing to be attentive on how we use it, being responsible.

E.L.A - Write Traits, lesson one have the double T-chart complete with detail for your topic.  Have a rough draft ready for tomorrow.  We will be doing some editing in class using the rubrics as a guide.

Math - Textbook work page 8, complete questions 2 (chart on April calendar) and 3 in your math notebook.
Also complete the three word problems for tomorrow as well.

E.L.A - Write Traits exercise  to complete from lesson one.  Students are to underline the detail that is provided in the double T chart from the paragraph we read in class.  (Adventures at the Rockpile).

Math - Complete the pattern exercise from page eight, question number one. The three and four family, find a pattern and see if you can make a pattern rule for the two numbers studied.

Scholastics: Sept 13th the due date.

Notes sent home today.  Notes need to be read by both parent and child.  Once read please sign (parent & student) and return to school.

Second day of school was awesome!


E.L.A - Writing Book complete page two for tomorrow

Math - Textbooks handed out today.  We looked at patterns on page six.  Students are asked to find a pattern for tomorrow.

Science - Habitats and Communities is the first unit we are exploring.  Students are asked to discuss the energy transfer that occurred at supper.
