Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Dress-Up Day! 🍫🍬🌋💎

To celebrate the end of an amazing school year, we'll be wrapping up our study of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in a fun way!

Students are invited (but not required) to come to school dressed as a character from the novel on Monday. Simple, creative costumes are absolutely welcome!

Over the past few weeks, we've finished reading the novel and designed and created our own candy inventions. On Monday, we'll celebrate by watching the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie.

Students were also invited to prepare a fun rocks and minerals activity to share with the class. Ideas include creating a volcano demonstration, a mini tsunami model, a gem hunt, or another geology-themed activity. These activities are meant to be fun, creative, and a chance for students to share something they're excited about.

It has been a fantastic year, and we're looking forward to ending it with a bang! Thank you for all of your support throughout the year. We can't wait for a fun-filled day of learning and celebration!

On June 25, we will be creating unique items to explore and enjoy, much like those found in Willy Wonka’s candy factory! Students do not need to bring large quantities of materials, as all 26 students will be contributing items to the activity.
